Galen, the bright, inquisitive and personable young chimp who befriended the fugitive astronauts Burke and Virdon in the 1974 TV series Planet Of The Apes. Played by the immortal Roddy McDowall.

    My favorite of the three originals: Cornelius, Caesar and Galen. Galen was cutest.
