I'm pretty sure Conquest was cancelled at this time, and shown at a later date due to the death of John Wayne (LWT showed one of his films instead).
It was THE SONS OF KATIE ELDER that was shown as a tribute to John Wayne ( the film’s trailer on the Saturday before ... then CONQUEST got that rescheduled showing during mid July sat. Evening!
