Austin Stoker (born 7th October 1943 in Port Of Spain, Trinidad, West Indies) is best known in the Apes universe as MacDonald,
Caesar's closest human adviser in Battle For The Planet Of The Apes (1973) and as the voice of astronaut Jeff Allen
in the animated TV series Return To The Planet Of The Apes (1975).

Battle For The Planet Of The Apes (1973): MacDonald accompanies Caesar (Roddy McDowall) and Virgil
on a fact-finding mission into the ruined city.
MacDonald is the brother of the Hari Rhodes character - Governer Breck's right-hand man - in Conquest Of The Planet Of The Apes (1972).
He was originally intended to be the same character, but Rhodes was unable to reprise the role.
Following his appearance in Battle, Stoker famously starred as Lt Ethan Bishop in John Carpenter's 1976 classic Assault On Precinct 13.
Among Stoker's other film and TV appearances are Mod Squad (1969), McCloud (1974), Kojak (1974), Airport 1975 (1975),
The Six Million Dollar Man (1975 and 1977), Sheba, Baby (1975), Victory At Entebbe (1976) and alongside Hari Rhodes
in the original 1977 TV production of Roots.
While active in live theatre in recent years, Stoker's film appearances have been few and far between.
Most recently he can be seen in the 2016 film production Descention.
