This 1974 UK paperback was my first experience of the Boulle novel. I nearly had kittens when I found this on the shelf
at John Menzies one Saturday afternoon. Had to have it, even though it cost nearly a whole week's pocket money.
This is my holy grail: a UK first edition. Dave's got one, but I've never been
able to track one down, despite searching for well over forty years.
