A long-overdue second look at the incredible 26-part Japanese TV series, originally screened in 1974-75, and later condensed into a 94-minute movie released on VHS in 1988.
Variously known as Time Of The Apes, Army Of The Apes and Ape Corps, the entire series was released on DVD in Japan in 2014, along with a 57-track soundtrack CD.
Saru No Gundan Part 2 will appear at the same time next Saturday.
